Roth, Markus Die Zuwendung Gottes feiern: Evangelische Gottesdienst-Theologie bei Martin Luther, Oswald Bayer und Paul Tillich als ein Beitrag zu einer fundamentalliturgischen Praxistheorie

Celebrating God's Devotion. The Protestant Theology of Worship of Martin Luther, Oswald Bayer and Paul Tillich] In his 2015 dissertation Markus Roth studies the theologies of worship of Martin Luther, Oswald Bayer and Paul Tillich. He understands theology of worship as a theory of practice in the context of a multi-perspective perception of worship. In considering the theology of Luther and Bayer the author sees the 'devotion of God' as the key term of a Protestant theology of worship. Taking into account the ideas of Paul Tillich he interprets the devotion of God in worship as an initially passive existence in a personal, sacramental and mystic dimension.
